Ahh I see, sorry I've never seen them before and was interested in what they did.

You know they are basically trim panels for early AC-equipped trucks which had no vents from the factory right? I'm not sure they would do much blocking off. I mean, they go in the space but you'd have to rig up something to seal them and then I'm not sure they'd ultimately be that effective. I would think something using the actual covers would work better.

Have you exisiting vents got the rubber seals attached to the bulkhead or the ones attached to the vent flap ? Input new bulkhead side seals on with a flexible adhesive and it stopped any leaks. Have you checked the windscreen rubber and the seal in between the the windscreen frame and bulkhead ? I've also had leaks through the screen mounting block bolts

Yes, I was going to worry about sealing the blanking panels if I managed to get hold of a pair.
I have newish seals on the flaps, and new rubbers all-round, and I thought it was fairly leak free. I've just spent 2 days pulling the dashboard out and tracking down an electrical fault. It looks like one of the electrical headers has corroded crimps due to water running down the loom. So I'm happy to loose the vents if it helps to keep water out '99 TD5 Defender 90 '52 Series 1 80" '99 Caterham 7 |

Have you checked the grommets on the bulkhead where wiring goes through from the engine bay ? Some of mine were perished or had been pushed through
