Great to hear you OK that's NO.1 priority.

Our kids would be the same I'm sure LIttle lad probably asking can we do that again daddy that was cool, but the little girl would be crying...

How was the Audi driver?

I can understand why you would go for the same car, it does concern me in the defender in that situation (without a cage) how it would fair...

Even with the cage (mine has one) I don't think the Defender would be as safe due to the lack of air bags.

If your head it bouncing around against metal, it won't be good outcome.

Cheers

Well I saw a puma upside down facing the wrong way on the A50 a few weeks back, flipped over by its trailer and then of was crushed, there's zero rollover protectionism a defender or older, it's all soft aluminium! 2016 D4 HSE

Glad you're all OK. Those little hippos are a tough little beast. I saw one involved in a nasty bump with a 7.5t MAN wagon once and the wagon came off far far worse than the FL2 Thumbs Up

we rolled a freelander 2 at work, at approx 20mph, it went 4 times over downhill aprox 50m distance over 30m vertical height change. All 3 climbed out with minor injuries. If it had been a defender i reckon i would of been the only survivor if i was quick and lucky Cheers
