bulkhead vent not shutting fully
Its been like this since i got it last year and last winter i took to fitting plastic bags to keep the draft out on the motorway!

With one eye on the next few months i need to sort this, the passanger one shuts fully but the drivers one has a slight gap when shut. Can they be adjusted because i can push it tighter to the bulkhead from outside 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car)
2009 - current .... 2005 zx10r

Check your seals, they can come apart and sag causing them to prevent it from shutting properly. Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

Also check the tiny bolt that holds the flap to the reach rod is done up. If its too loose it wont pull up tight, if its too tight it wont move properly.

You will need tiny child like hands to do it though as it is fiddly as a fiddly thing. Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

I've had several Tdis do this to me in the past. If all else fails open the flap, grab the linkage from outside with a pointy pliers and twist to put a bit of a Z bend in it.
