Hello all, My TD5 just failed its MOT , brakes, offside Ft wheel bearing, nearside passenger seat belt webbing (damaged by door latch) and the ABS light on.
Nothing wrong with the ABS as the numpty who MOT'd it had no clue you have to get over 5mph to turn the light off. I've just stripped down the front end ready to replace both R & L wheel bearings, i may have gone OTT but decided to completely remove both brake calipers from the hub (much easier to clean out and push the pistons back). I'm just about to change out the bearings and dont see any issues with that however, when it comes to putting the calipers back i'll need to bleed both front calipers (i've not touched the rears). Any tips on how to bleed would really be appreciated....thanks Trevor S |

Get an easi bleeder. So much less hassle. Only downside is you have to lift the wheel on top of the engine!!
