Has anyone got a wing fuel tank fitted that would mind hazarding an opinion on whether it would fit round the Gwyn Lewis mud flap/shield kit?
Click image to enlarge Or possibly would be able to take some pictures so I can have a guess! If you have got a wing tank fitted I'd also be interested to know how you got on with fitting it and whether you'd do the same again. |

Doubt it would as the wing tank takes up the space which is being occupied by that bracket.
Having said that I don't have one fitted so cannot 100% confirm ether way. Which is sort of helpful? Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Thanks. If I do end up with a tank there it's going to look weirdly lopsided then |

i have a wing tank from Brendan there. both wont go together but you could fit the top part of the mud shield in frnot of the tank to keep the muck off the top of the tank.
will take some pics tomorrow if i remember! Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |
