Very nice, reminds me of mine when I got it. Bone stock with 205R16s on Rostyles.
By the way, do you find that rack reasonable? I bet it's a bolt on (flatpack) Bearmach BA007 or equivalent. I need a rack for mine, and wanted a Brownchurch, but prices right know are crazy. I was thinking about getting one of those bolt ons, welding the parts together and then weld some reinforcements. |

I like Keswick green (I have one) but I would leave the paint original if it were mine as I think it looks just right.

Fitted the bull bar, it sat along way off the grill and wanted more of a snug fit so trimmed the bottom so it sits further back, also fitted a landrover bonnet badge but I'm not convinced and think it's coming off??

Personally I never liked the letters on the bonnet, even on modern Defenders. I'm sure others on here like them though 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon

Bought a £15 generic central locking kit of fleabay as I was getting pead off with being confused by the keys not matching, must say it was very easy to fit, back door was a bit more fiddly but definitely worth the effort.
Also fitted a cheapo head unit as the Sony that came in it didn't have an aux and my plan is to fit a tablet in the dash as a sat nav and radio player. I've noticed a "bounce" for want of a better word whilst driving, would I be right in thinking it may be a bush somewhere on the drive train needing changing? Only get it when cruising at low speeds? |

Got bored today with the weather being so bad so built myself a mount, quite happy with how it's come out, just needs the wiring tiding up

[quote="Matt90"]Thanks for the replys fellas, originally had wanted to take off the roof rack and tidy the body work and paint it Keswick green, but after owning him for a while now love his character and am less willing to alter his original paintwork,
We're planning on using him this summer for our camping holiday so yesterday a added slats to the rack as its a bit precarious up there when loading, needs another coat of oil but quite like how it turned out Click image to enlarge Is that corrosion on your nearside bulkhead?or a trick of the light? |

Yep unfortunately it is, small patch either side but appears to be the only part, plan is to cut back and patch when we finally get a bit of good weather and before winter comes

Finally convinced the Mrs to let us go camping, she's quite high maintenance but agreed none the less.
So the search began for camping gear as we had none, sourced a decent second hand tent (wasn't going to go nuts incase she made us come home early), then found a decent site not to far from us for our first adventure. This is us packed and ready roll with 2 kids (3&7) a 1 year old lab and a not so keen other half wedged in the back. We're heading home a day early but that's due to weather, rain on Friday and I don't fancy packing up a wet tent
But yeah she kinda gets it, think its going to be a weekend only kinda gig |
