They have picked up the 90 and taken it to be fixed.
they didn't have a loan car for me so I need a lift home from work. waiting for the prognosis now. Driver couldn't believe how heavy it was without the power steering working so hope he gets it back ok. Hi Vince Ive not always had a great time with Stratstone which is why I thought I would share this experience as it happens. just glad ive got the 110 to use. |

Expect a similar post from me in the near future, regarding Stratstone Cardiff and the 35K Land Rover Approved 08 plate Defender 110, that's did 4 miles and was sent to the garage the day after I received it with some serious transmission issues.

That sounds as if you are having a seriously negative experience and you aren't exactly just around the corner from this dealership. If you are away up in Scotland maybe they think you can't just pop in every other day to make your presence felt at Reception? |

Will post up a detailed explanation tonight, I am currently working on a customer site but in short I got a 110 delivered on Wednesday 30th October and it had just over 35K miles on the clock. With tax starting on the 1st of November I went to the doctors 4 miles down the road, half way there I pulled over due to a whining noise from the back/ transmission. AA come out, (From land rover assist) agree something isn't as it should be and send out a flat bed, remove it from flat bed (After a lot of hassle for being sent to a closed garage!) and the car wouldn't select a gear without the AA driver going into LOW. At this point we discover the electric windows are rather temperamental, and the back of the truck is covered in a clear fluid too.
Currently running around in a Toyota Auris hire car until they get this sorted - so far it's done 500 miles this week without breaking down. First time i've ever considered rejecting a car tbh, not sure if/how I could go about this. |

the only checks they seem to do is making sure they got your money before you leave. i only work about 1.5miles from them but i avoid them like the plague now !!! |

That's really bad William
They didn't want me to pick mine up on the Saturday I wanted so I got them to bring it to me at work on the Monday. I wouldn't be happy with that on a new car. im still waiting to hear |
