Bicycle Storage Inside a 110 Hardtop
I bought my 110 Hardtop specifically so I could easily store a bicycle in the back on a semi permanent basis. I have a few bikes and a couple are quite expensive so leaving them exposed on a bike rack unsupervised isnt an option. Obviously I can just sling one in the back, plenty of space, but i'd like to get something organised so it's 'stored'.

Has anyone done anything like this? Would appreciate your ideas.

I got away with removing the wheels off mine then it fits neatly against the internal bulkhead, I have a roll-over bar in mine so I just bungee it to that. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

What about something like a delta hitch mounted on the wheel arch?

Can't comment on internal bike storage but... I trust you have good security on the Defender, as they get stolen often enough without expensive bikes also tempting thieves. Thumbs Up Big Cry James

James,

This had occurred to me. I think my security is average and needs upgrading!

Delta hitches. Interesting. Will investigate!

Thanks and please keep suggestions coming
