I have a K Trailer built in 2004 (I bought it new). The manufacturer has changed guises several times, and when I phoned they were quite unable to help me over the phone.
It looks like this: Click image to enlarge The trailer tyres are getting past their best, one has a slow puncture. They're 10". So I was thinking of replacing them, with wheels of a larger diameter so the trailer sits flatter (the high back end of the Defender means that the trailer slopes backwards quite a bit... So - 12" or 13" wheels seem more common (13" seems most common). My hubs are 4" centres I think, but the bolt holes are only 3/8. Plus the wheels have an odd cut-out to allow the grease nipple: Click image to enlarge The suspension appears to be an axle beam like the ones at Indespension... http://www.indespension.co.uk/58-axle-beams Piccie under: Click image to enlarge So... I think the best route would be to change the hubs as well? Something more beefy with a "proper" bolt size? I'm not looking to increase the weight limit of the trailer, just level it out, and increase the road manners with larger wheels, Anyone help??? I had thought that! But the axle on mine is a full length beam axle so it's harder to swap for "normal" axle plates (without welding I think) I think I just need hubs, and wheels... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

You need to check the PCD on your current rims.
Then the offset if any so tyres dont rub side of trailer. Larger diameter may cause issue with mudguards???? Look on this website. If you give them a call they will help you. http://www.ate-uk.com/wheels-tyres-mudguar...blies.html |

No worries. As Romadog said, wheel arches will need to go in favour of bigger ones He who dies with the most toys...wins! |

I'm feeling that I need new hubs, and new wheels.
The question is whether I can use different hubs on the same axels...??? Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

When I priced it all up after wrecking a wheel and hub it wasnt much more to replace it all. I got it all from Indespension and their service was very good and pretty much the cheapest.
