2001 Defender 90 Td5 ST Coniston Green
TD5 Pickup 2001 SPEAKER WIRE REAR
Dear all,

My pickup is now a soft top so I have bought speaker trim panels for the rear.

Just wondering if the speaker wires are already in place behind the metal light box cover or not?

If not where have people routed their speaker wires?

HI

i have a 2000 110 cow and mine didn't have any rear speaker wires (that I have found). I have the rear speaker panels also ready to fit and will need to do the same. I haven't decided as yet where to run the cables. Under the vehicle and up into rear sections or up the a pillar and along the roof.

Below are the rear corners with wiring on mine

My 2005 110 CSW had the wires in place for rear speakers, l just connected the speakers and they worked.

Likewise the missus's 2003 90 CSW

I think there were significant changes with the Td5 in 2002 so it seems likely that the wires were introduced from then onwards. Shame!

Thank you all for the replies and pictures.... rather annoying they didnt put them in ohhh well gonna have a crack this week at it
