Er that sounds like a hell of a lot of messing about over wood blocks (I use off cuts from 5-7" fence posts I had to shorten) and especially over just living underneath your Defender. Plenty of room underneath at normal height. I have done 100-200 like this no problem... Even with a beer belly
Just a reminder that bricks and concrete can crack/crumble, it's the reason wood chocks are widely used...
