United Kingdom 2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 SW Keswick Green
Auction Prices
Went today to BCA Auction looking to bid on a 2009 Puma 90 basic SW. I was willing to swallow the VAT if the hammer price was reasonable, however it wasn't. Two private buyers pushed the price up to £21K including buyers premium. Considering that it wanted around £500 in remedial work to the body, a new drivers seat and new wheels to replace the very rusty steels ones I was taken back by the price given that I have seen 2008 90XS Station Wagons in nice condition for around £19K. Seems like Land Rover madness is still prevalent Confused

I've got a fairly basic 90 2014 SW and thought I'd struggle to get £20k for it - now I'm wondering what it's really worth.

On the other hand I'm rather enjoying driving about in it at a sedate pace and smiling at pc plod hiding behind the bus stop and pointing his hairdryer at Vauxhall Corsa's.

This wasn't the auctioneer bouncing bids off the wall, a woman bought it, just kept on bidding determined to have it Confused
