The brackets are not your worry. If the anti-roll bar was still attached to the axle, then the axle alignment musts be significantly out!
I would check the axle alignment thoroughly. As for the bracket, I would just hammer it straight and weld in flitch plates to strengthen it. 80" 1948 Lightweight V8 Bowler Tomcat 130 Station wagon 90 300tdi (Santana PS10 pick up) Range Rover L322 (Ful fat) |

The axle alignment will be fine. Its currently completely stripped down, so everything will be checked upon reassembly.
The 110 always drove straight so assume that the ARB droplinks dealt with the misalignment. Worst I can imagine it did was preload the torsion bar a bit so it was biased toward a left or right roll. Cetane |

I believe that there are several places which supply ARB brackets (from memory Foundry 4x4 comes to mind) should you need a new one.

I've not really been off road in this one so assume it was the previous owner. There's some dings in the front diff which make me think it might of been bush once or twice. You would certainly know you've banged something to bend it like that. Going to see if I can get my hands on some oxy-acetylene and try to persuade it back. I really CBA welding as I've just finished the electrics and don't fancy disconnecting everything again. Last edited by Cetane on 13th May 2016 9:17pm. Edited 1 time in total |
