Worth reading this thread below here to the end, the posts by tatra805 are all I need to know to make my mind up.
I still run my factory Varta LFD90 which is now almost 8 years old, still holding its charge very well without running the truck for weeks at length, but the day that there will be weakness showing I will take tatra's advise and just replace by another OEM Varta LFD90. Eric http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic16605-15.html You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

^^^^^ Another vote for Varta. I started with nothing and still have most of it left!

While visiting Halfords the other day I noticed they have a "premium" Yuasa battery in with a lifetime guarantee. Think they were about 140 quid, however if keeping your truck indefinitely they might be worth while.
If however selling in the next 3 years or so Id get something cheaper. Jono |
