Switch basics - rear air conditioning
Hi Forum,
I have a rear air con in my 110 station wagon which is wired ti the instrument panel to tun on an off/fan speed.

What I would like to do is have dual controls - so i can be operated from the dashboard as well as the rear compartment.

basically OFF /Low/High control really. -
can the be done and if so what is best practice?

It depends entirely on the system and how it's controlled. I assume it's an aftermarket thing?

Can't help with your switch question but could you post some pics of the setup and do you know the manufacturer? Ray

Re: Switch basics - rear air conditioning
I have an aftermarket rear Aircon, the termostat is at the back but the fan speed and the compressor switch is at the front, Y just extended the wires from the normal fan system to my location in front. The wires run below the "carpets" (that plastic things we have on the defender) Augusto
