Where are you finding your 7.50s cheap? I need 4 new ones and new they're more expensive than 235s by quite a bit, and I haven't been able to find a set of 7.50s second hand that haven't already been snaffled. |

It was a partly tongue in cheek comment, but the set I have on just now I got on a cracking deal from Tim at Marple Road garage. He had a load of new take offs - tyres on steel rims - and I got 5 off him just after I bought the 90 from him - maybe worth a phone call to see if has anything lying? |

My 90sw came with steel wheels and 7.50 tyres.
It's santoruni black and the wheels just didn't suit the rest of the vehicle. So I bought a set of 5 boosts and tyres from a chap on here. They look much better, much more in keeping with the vehicle, which now looks like any other 90. I'm well chuffed with them and have found the supposedly 'crap' continental tyres to perfectly suit my needs. 235 tyres are a lot cheaper and easier to get hold of than 7.50s too, and I have no need or use whatsoever of fitting knobbly tyres (my rally car however is different gravel tyres on a gravel spec car are a must.) |

I've had various sets of the following genuine wheels
1 tons - great wish I'd kept them now, got rid of them when wolfs became available as the wolf looked more modern at the time. Wolf - good but preferred the above. Deep dish - yuk Freestyle - lots of pairs of these over the years, just put an old pair on my other halfs 90 and still really like them. Not so keen on the two tone ones. TWR / sports - loved these, rare set of wheels, you never see them on 90's, should've kept them. Boost - five years ago I liked them but nowadays they look dated to me SVX DUal finish - current fitment, made my 90 look new when I fitted them. |

More interesting is the wheels they're with. Wouldn't want G90s on the road...

Not a lot of those tyres actually touch the road...a bit like walking on stilettos (but don't go there!).
