roof protection with loaded roof rack?
I'd like to carry bicycles and other odd shaped objects on the 110 Adventure roof rack. Is there a way to protect the roof from protruding objects? I imagine a 'chickenwire' type of protection or equivalent. How have others done this? Bicycles is just an examples so a bike rack is not the answer. Thanks

Thanks again for the advice. Here are the pictures as requested - before and after.
It just took 45 mins to fit. Superb. I weigh 80kgs and I can easily stand on this. As mentioned, you have to avoid standing on the edges where there is no support but a brilliant solution nevertheless.

Thanks. I don't know the weight but it felt very light yet strong when fitting it. Is that 2.5 per square or per segment? A huge guess but I would assume it would be no more than 10 kgs total.
I used Screwfix cable ties (550mm). Easy and very strong.

I wonder about using waffle boards then you have options if you get stuck and you can get relative cheap ones. Not sure the sizes work mind

I ordered some of that, waited two months and had to stamp my feet to get my money back.
