My 2007 Puma remote need several push on buttons to open and lock the doors.
One remote is brand new, bought from remotekey.eu, highly recommended. Changed battery in the old one, same thing. Wondering what is wrong and what I should do. Brgds, Juha '96 300Tdi 90 '07 Puma 90 |

In the ownerīs manual there is a passage about how to replace the battery.
It involves discharging the remote after removing the old battery to remove any stored voltage, and then, once the new battery is installed, pressing the lock button four times in a row to re-syncronise it. Hope this helps. 1998 Tdi 90 SW, 2008 Td4 90 SW, 2012 2.2 90 SW, 2" raised Trailmaster/Terrafirma Heavy Track Raids, 255 MTīs, Recaro CSīs, anorak, wellingtons |

I followed the instruction in the manual and I have this same problem with both
remote controls. I have a feeling that this has changed, it was not like this before, but I changed the clutch and did some other work and did not use the car for couple of months. Brgds, Juha '96 300Tdi 90 '07 Puma 90 |

I cannot think what else it could be. Is it a "range" issue? Does the response improve if you are right next to the driverīs door?
Anyone else got a suggestion? 1998 Tdi 90 SW, 2008 Td4 90 SW, 2012 2.2 90 SW, 2" raised Trailmaster/Terrafirma Heavy Track Raids, 255 MTīs, Recaro CSīs, anorak, wellingtons |
