FPR fuel leak woes continue...

Having replaced the regulator gizmo and gaskets last time, I bit the bullet and bought a complete FPR including housing and fitted it yesterday. Apart from chucking diesel all over the workshop yesterday as I didn't check the pipes were fitted properly, I thought I had it fixed. Had my MOT done today and it failed on....a bloody "fuel leak from the back of the engine." I did argue the toss but the guy showed me the little puddle on his MOT bay floor.

Big Cry

Rung up my local independent garage to book it in because I'm at a loss as to where the fuel is coming from. In the meantime any thoughts folks?

I have changed two or three now and the part that leaks is the fuel regulator its self i.e. seals inside at are held closed by the spring, leak out of the small telltale hole or pipe

Yep. Done that.

I'll let my chap, Graham Goodyer, look at it. If he can't sort it no one can. 1999 Td5 110 CSW
