Washer nozzles!
Bloody things!

Guess they're the first bit to fall off my new 110...probably not the last. Shocked

One on the front fell off this morning, and pinged down the road. Checked the one on the rear and it came away in my hand.

My LR dealers is on my way to work, and strangely enough, they had 'dozens' of the the things in stock...! I'm thinking they are a frequently lost bit.

Got the new bit but can't work out how to a) remove the outer nozzle bit from the rest (comes with the rest of the part as well) and b) keep it retained on the bit sticking out below the windscreen.

Any tips?

Put it in hot water and pull, then super glue it back on, make sure you don't put too much glue on or it will block it up and won't work Thumbs Up NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

SWRA WINDSCREEN WIPER CLEANER

DESCRIPTION

Our windscreen wiper cleaner ought to have been ready long since, but there were a number of minor problems.

First, the standard water tank for the windscreen jet nozzles is far too small for the entire SWRA system to work satisfactorily. Then there were repeated malfunctions of the hold pressure value until we finally found the right manufacturer.

To crown it all, the high-pressure pumps had difficulty in taking up water from the (refilled) reservoir because they are always designed for fitting directly in the water container and not for external use.

We are now working on an additional tank for the SWRA with a volume of just under 10 litres of water because it is only then that a cleaner with high water consumption really makes sense.

My washer nozzle on the rear of the tdi got broken some years ago. As a temporary repair I used a piece of break line bent to shape, with the exit end flattened with a pliers. I just stuck it into the protruding plastic pipe over the rear window. This temporary repair is still in place. Works really well. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

OK, so following suggestions on here, I successfully separated washer nozzle from the part it fits to, then after heating it up in hot water and giving it a sharp tap with a hammer, got it to click on to the bit sticking out of the scuttle.

Now, being REALLY stupid, I can't seem to adjust the nozzle direction. They both shoot into space!

Been trying with a pin, but to no avail. Is there a trick to it?
