United Kingdom 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Epsom Green
I've kept a (sad) record since purchase in October 2008. 28.65 over 2 years and 22000 miles (oddly, exactly the same as my 110 tdi). 30 - 31 is the best from a tank, a poor 27 mpg driving down to Cornwall last Friday into a howling gale and loaded to the gun'les! I never get good economy on that journey, which I put down to all the hills on the A303 and A30

That's with no roof rack or other sticky-out bits... 1953 80
1965 Alfa Romeo GT Veloce Sprint
1980 Fiat 124 Spider
2008 110xs

Confused. On new cars, when they state the mileage on the window stickers what version of the gallon are they using.

If I drove 325 miles, my fuel gauge was at 1/4, what would you guess my mileage to be? I filled up using an amerincan standard of gas which ended up being 15 gallons. My gas mileage was only 21.6 with this standard.
