Has anyone yet established for sure whether the LR BBS is simply a plug-and-play retrofit to a Defender with the standard alarm, ie actually done it?

Sorry if this has been answered in the thread above - if it has I couldn't see in all the messages asking for PMs!

Could you PM me as well please? Very Happy

I've been a nervous wreck since the LRO article on Defender theft a few months back. Confused "If it ain't sideways, you just ain't tryin'!

Please could you PM me too, my brother in law got his 110 knicked off his drive this morning, broad daylight whilst my sister was taking the kids to school, b&@&rds! Something (wiring?) cut off and left on the drive?? Hot-wired presumably in some way as keys still in the house ..... Worried about mine now! "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the things you did..."

I've got a new 110 on order and thought I should have the battery backup option. When I tried to order it, it is no longer on the options list. The ever-optimistic saleman now assumes it is included as a factory standard. Does this seem realistic?
