apart from chaining the back axel to the drive, there must be a different way to protect them? A tracker is usless because if you dont know its been stolen it will be too late, it probably would have been stripped down within a few hours. The alarm the guy used in "a 4x4 is born" looked good but im not sure what it is...

Re Tracker; it depends on what version you have fitted. Some will tell YOU it's been taken via your mobile phone if it's disturbed without the alarm being deactivated. D300 HSE 110

If buying a new one is the extra £100 worth spending on the battery back up or would it be best spent on an aftermarket one that works properly (assuming from the whispers here the standard one doesn't).
Am maybe about to order a 110 Utility XS. TIA Craig |

Me too (again) please Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |
