So would that be legal as in they still contain the cat and dpf? If you can find the original details/post or any more info, it would be interesting.

Morepower - excellent sleuthing but I think that thread only refers to the 2.4 engine for which I think there were at least 8 variants of the cat pipe which seem to be a common fit across the 90, 110 & 130:

Catalyst, EU2 - WCD502340 or WCD501910
Catalyst, Euro Stage 4 Emissions WCD502500 or LR020683 or LR030002 or LR041316
Catalyst, Stage V Plus DPF LR030001 or LR041312
