The one on the right is the correct way up

yeah the premium seats make a big difference to the comfort, I have the half leather version in mine and found them really comfy on a jaunt from Lanarkshire down to Surrey to get it dinitrolled at Zagato's
My Defender budget has been diverted to the new house just now as the Mrs has a list of "essentials" longer than my arm!!! Looking forward to seeing yours done Cheers John 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon 1971 Bowler Tomcat 88 4.2 V8 Auto 2022 110 D250 XS Edition - Gone 2024 110 D250 X-Dynamic HSE |

Adam,
Thanks No I sprayed that part black with satin black flexable vinyl paint. I did this when I was recovering the original headlining with the alcantara like fabric that all went wrong! When I ordered the new headlining I decided to see what it looks like before I spent an extra £130 or so on a new one. It actually looks quite nice it's certainly not top of my list to buy just yet!! I like it.....
but my defender being black outside has a cream type headlining and gives the inside brighter look. Can you get these in lighter colors? How easy / hard was it changing the dials, |

As far as I know the alcantara headlining only comes in black?
Changing the dials wasn't hard undo the top bezel, remove the cluster undo the back and part the two. You'll have to remove the dials themselves to remove the original black backing and replace with the new white or whatever you are putting in. Think I did a bit on it in my thread earlier? Just be careful when removing the dials from the needles be firm when pulling them off but don't over do it! Don't panic its not a hard job and well worth doing 2010 Defender 90 HT The longer I live..... The better I was! |

That would be quite unique, I guess this will be in an ivory type shade rather than the light bland grey of the plastic type. 2016 D4 HSE

Aha, I had to spray my sun visors as I wasn't prepared to pay £220 for those in alcantara, but the rear piece came with mine in Alcantara. Swings and roundabouts. 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |
