Radio code not working?
Hello,

When I did the clutch and disconnected the battery my radio died.
The radio code has been verified from the factory by local dealer,
but it won't work? Would anybody have any ideas what to do other
than spend the holidays and trying all combinations....

The code I have is 8260.
This not much to brag about as a radio, but occasionally I would like to use it.
If somebody have one to sell, let me know. Brgds,

Juha

I presume you follow the procedure to enter the code as specified in the manual?

I ask as I initially tired my code without referring to the manual and failed

In a Puma you have the 1 - 4 radio presents and you have to press the 1 eight times to register an 8 and the then the 2 present twice to register a 2 etc

Is this the same in yours?

If code does not work, other thing I've heard people try is putting the radio in a plastic bag in the freezer overnight but I've never tried that

Yes, I followed the manual and did as you describe.
I'll try the freezer trick, but somewhat doubt it as it not
uncommon here to have the whole car -20C and lower.
It can be quite cold in Finland. Brgds,

I had the same issue - just give the dealer a call with the numbers you have a photo of and they will log it with Land Rover to get the code.

You might have to pop down there just to prove you own the car and it's not stolen or a second hand radio.

I expressed my self poorly, the code has been verified from the factory
in UK by our official Land Rover importer. According to LR records this
is the code for this radio. Brgds,
