Just a quick teaser photo.
Quite simply the best weekend I have ever had, and made some great friends There was a million photos taken. Here's one of my faves so far. Still a few forum members up at the campsite, unfortunately I have work in the morning! Think I have around 500 pictures to sort and upload to a dropbox file, so here are a few from the weekend to keep you going.
Have to say it was a pleasure to guide you guys around, thank you for bringing a bit of fine weather to the proceedings, cant promise the same weather, but can promise more of the same for your next visit and there's still a lot more areas we didn't get to explore this time. Ian |

Sign me (and my boys) up for the next one
Can't thank you and Chris enough, it was a memorable experience. Everybody was tip top and seriously good fun, we would have loved to stay on for the extra day, but work and school prevented us My boys and I have some brilliant and unique memories from this weekend, and for that, I thank you all. We definitely want to do more, it'll just come down to dates I think PS I have a few go-pro videos and photos, and will share them. I think Chris's wife, was going to set up and goggle drive or drop box account to pool the photos and video together. Cheers Andy |

Hope everyone made it home OK, just myself, Leanne and 'Merlin' left on site now.
Had a lovely lunch with 'mdm' and Keith and family at the house of Briar today then chilled out in the sun and did a few checks on the 110 at Ians house this afternoon. Definitely a memorable weekend. Hope to catch up with you all later in the year- definitely some memorable moments. Chris |

Problem solved on the Defender. Went to a local garage and they spotted a bulge in the tyre. Changed that for the spare and as the wheel bearing was noisy we changed that out with the spares I had on board. Job done.
Thanks to Chris and Ian for making it such a wonderful experience. Also for a great group of people. Thanks for arranging the weather too. Merlin |

What a great weekend!
Met a pile of fantastic people... Was blown away with the rolling repairs done by some of the group... Consistently astounded by the toughness and capability of our motors (though it was never in doubt)... Star of the weekend has to be Lazarus the Defender... Which not only changed gender to become Lazarus but just kept on going... Click image to enlarge Big thanks and to Chris, Leanne and Ian for taking care of us and getting us on some fantastic routes. I hope I can do it justice with the drone footage (still to be watched) Drove back down the road with the music loud and massive grin on my face. All thanks to these wonderful trucks and the people who drive them. Thanks everybody and catch up again sometime soon! Arrived back home at 1900. 25 degrees and blue skies all weekend ( until the mountains gave an unexpected downpour and the open windows and tent door made the HM a swimming pool )
Our family had a canoeing, walking , zip wire adventure weekend . Campsite was perfect with all forum members having a BBQ , fire , drinks and vehicle repair seminar . Very professional and knowledgeable organising by Chris and great pics and drone footage. Great family fun and awsome landrovering . Well done to all who turned up Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Last edited by keith on 30th May 2016 10:28pm. Edited 1 time in total |

I'm home! Pretty much exactly 12 hours worth of driving... but still with a grin like the cheshire cat! Can't rate the weekend highly enough!
Sign me up for the next one! Some of the drop offs and climbs were near vertical and the landys just lapped it up! A big thank you to Ian and Chris for organising it and to the weatherman Thank you to all for making it a fantastic weekend! |
