Hi Keith,

Currently there are no available slots left in the tours, however if you wanted to come up and camp with everyone just for a nice weekend I'm sure that would not be a problem as there is no issue for space at the campsite as far as I am aware. There is plenty to do in the area in terms of activities and attractions!

Chris - Just tried to book the campsite with the second phone number, apparently the number (01540 673540) isn't correct,
I will try the other number (01540 673695) and the google one I found (01540 673534) for the campsite.

Not sure if anyone else had the same issue?

Booked for the friday night 27th and saturday night 28th - Along with everyone else in the group...

Just a thought, do we want to be driving all day then do the long journeys home? I may be totally mixed up but, are we not doing the two days driving sat/sun? so driving sunday then not camping but heading straight off home? I may extend it into the sunday night, then drive home monday - what are peoples thoughts?

Not sure which way / where you are coming from but I will do.

Cant do the 500 though as have to be back in work on the tuesday in Londinium

I'm planning on leaving friday morning from Pontefractus area heading up t'old A1(M) to Stirling, then A66 across to the M6 then A74/M74 then M73. Then hit the M80, M9 and finally A9.

Where exactly is, a planet far, far, away? I have a feeling your craft will be faster than my D90 2.2 Big Cry

I could meet you at Penrith perhaps?

The number has gone to the main campsite number now they have re-opened for the season. I'll amend once I get to a computer again.


The offroad tours are Saturday and Sunday.

We are undecided as to whether to drive up on the Thursday or Friday, we *may* have our new project in tow so it will be a steady run up (saves some fuel too!)

If anyone else is going is heading from Yorkshire ish and fancies a meet en route we could be game!

As an aside in order to make it easy for folk to recognise each other and Leanne will be in this;
