Personally I'd leave it alone or change the filter.

No heard of them letting air in? Is that really the case? I've drained mine on a regular basis? But I may have air in the system and not know?

I drain mine on a regular basis, every 2nd week, never had a problem with air in the system or the drain leaking afterwards.
Just don't completely drain the filter, or over tighten the drain valve. Mine's a 2.4, I find that draining it into a clear jar, you can see when the fuel is clear. Generally when first opening the drain till it's clear is only a small amount. Unless you've got some serious diesel snot. |
