We used to live in Herefordshire, in a village called Vowchurch, where my Dad was The Vicar. A river flowed past the Church,..would that've been The Wye? Pickles. |

According to Google its the River Dore !
The Wye runs north of there west to East to Hereford. |

Yep it's the River Dore through Vowchurch which then flows into the River Monnow on the England/Wales border then onto the River Wye at Monmouth, so Pickles, it does get to the Wye eventually

Thanks guys, "The River Dore", now I remember, it was a long time ago.
On one occasion Mum stopped outside the Church, and when she went to drive off she couldn't because the road had iced up & she didn't have enough momentum/traction to get over the bridge,...too much wheelspin,...very rare on an Austin 10!! Pickles. |
