You can just use the bolts, with no problem. Although the you will need 2 substitutes, 1 for each side as there is a stud that is part of the seat that will come out.

I did this a month or so again on my 90 CSW, it's an easy enough job.
Yes you can replace all the fixing nuts back in the holes they came from, I coated mine in copper grease too, so that when I/ the next owner need to put the seats back, they are not stuck, plus it adds some waterproofing. As said, there are two holes you will need to bung up, I just used 2 bolts with washers, again, covered in copper grease and then all over the ends of the threads in the wheelarch to protect them. 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |

I used M8 bolts (can be the shortest you can find) - I used dome/screwed headed bolts for a flatter profile. The hole is quit large so I used oversized washers also.

I also used these highly specialised automotive-grade gaskets to keep the moisture out

Did mine yesterday used oversized steel washers and a rubber washer same size to make a good seal.
Easy on the torque when you make the bolt up all you will squeeze the rubber washer out. |
