I am in the middle of trying to sort a problem and have need of some tech info
Main Relay what is the spec of the relay. I know it is fused on 30 amps but would a standard 30 amp relay be a suitable replacement? SJ1 this appears on the circuit wiring diagrams and is a common point for the connections to some of the items of interest in debugging only problem is I do not know where it is or what it is. I have trawled thro the connection document but unable to find a location, lots of referrals in the "connected to" lists but no idea where it is. Can anyone help, much appreciated Tommy 110 XS TDCi |

The main relay is YWB500060
http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-YWB500060 Click image to enlarge It's not particularly expensive - £4.76 inc VAT I'm sure that this is a standard 40A 4-pin relay. The location of SJ1 is shown in the wiring diagram - Click image to enlarge The distance from each connector (or splice joint) to SJ1, is shown in mm, after the wire colour and gauge. . Superb, many thanks SJ1 must be in the box under the seat well hidden though.
I have a new 40 amp relay which I tried but it blew the fuse so beginning to think that its a wire that's been bared and is shorting probably the engine area. Tommy 110 XS TDCi |
