Mate, don't think you really need this... But the taller tyres would be a good way ahead Lift probably would mean longer propshafts etc... All gets more complex! Besides, you have some great APT stuff fitted so no worries!! I am sitting in the airport transit lounge in Hong Kong for the next 6 hours! On my way home the long way So some good reading time!!! What I've done for touring Ant on a standard 110 Puma is fit the LR HD springs to the front, and the rear I fitted PolyAirs to cope with the variety of loads I carry or tow. Add on the larger tyres for your additional diff clearance and you're set.

For touring in Australia it might be worth considering a rear axle locker as well.
Some of the climbs out of river crossings etc can be steep, wet and slippery. The ability to be able to engage a rear axle locker if the climb looked 'awkward' before you start to struggle did prove helpful to us. Brendan |

I am running OME 751 and 755 with my 255/85's. I wouldn't take the OME shocks a second time. Too soft for my liking but happy with the lift and spring rates. I also fitted a double prop at the front. m Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

I would recommend OME springs and OME sports dampers. I used to run the Gwy Lewis setup, which I highly recommend. Just over 1real" (most kits aren't accurate with their descriptions) and running pin pin dampers all round due to them being stronger, more articulation, and same part on all for couriers, which is a landcruiser part so not difficult to source, should it be required.

Recommend Koni Heavy Track Raid shocks if you're planning to spend much time on corrugated tracks.
