Windscreen . Guaranteed. Take out the window and use sealant top and bottom corners .

Not necessarily windscreen foam, could be the windscreen brackets as well (I reckon it's a very common source of leaks).
I replaced mine along with the gasket and applied sealant inside the fixings on the bulkhead and no more leaks for me. http://www.landroverworkshop.com/diagrams/...reen_52775 Get the dealer to fix those now, or else you'll have to fight another battle with corrosion warranty sooner than you expect. |

Corner of the windscreen seals.
If you pull the seal into the windscreen frame you can often solve the leak for a while. I occasionally get a small dribble onto my passenger mat. Have since pulled the seal onto the frame and taken it to the dealer for an investigation. They tested it in their facility for 4 hours and it was dry inside! |

I never mentioned foam . There is no foam around window . The water IS coming in the flat edge of the metal frame under the seal . I'll put my wages on it .  |

TBH at the risk of being branded unhelpful the OP would be best served by reading and inwardly digesting some of the many, many previous threads on the eternal subject of leaking Defenders. Steve.

Thank you for trying to help. The dealership checked also the windscreen brackets. I will try to check by myself if the water is going trough the windscreen seals before I go to the dealer. It is strange because on the picture you can see that the water traces are in the middle of the car.

The wet bits may well end up in the middle but usually where they end up isn't a gret indication of where they started. There are many fittings, brackets, and other odd shapes on the bulkhead panel which will direct the water into a completely misleading place.
For what it's worth I agree with what has been said above. The first place I would suspect is the seal between the glass and the frame, the second the seal between the frame and the lower bulkhead. Both of these joints are notorious for leaking. If you look in some of the threads with photos taken on the productin line you will see pictures of the special test facility for leaks. This is a thing like a giant car wash that Defenders are taken through in order to make sure that they leak properly, and that a dry one doesn't accidently leave the factory.  |

When you talk about corner of the windscreen seals, do you mean that shown on the picture?

The return lip ends where the hinges are. The water runs through the seal, its porous, end down where the hinges bolt through. Then down on to the boat of the dash. I know this because mine does it. I have just bought a second hand tdci bulkhead which also had the same issue. It's been galvanised and will be fitted along with the galvanised b posts I have. The dealer cannot really fix the issue. The best way is to seal the front of the bulkhead to screen seal with mastic.

Surly it's up to the dealer to solve the problem not us my 2014 defender 90 is going back in for the second time . There is a brown stain running down into the near side foot well so I'm going to insist that the bulkhead should have some sort of rust prevention treatment done after they solve the problem. I want a full waxoil done but there's know point until the problem is solved what do U guys think . Stay safe

I have a rusty stain in the footwell also. Booked into the dealers next month but I had also wondered that if they fix the leak what is going on behind the dash where the rust is coming from? Anyone taken this up with LR?

When I fix the water leaks issue I am planning to fix rust problem by myself. For such kind of things I can not trust them.
They can not stop water leaks also. |

Read the chapter on "Footwel leaks" in the Land Rover Defender Water Ingress Manual.
Your picture indicates clearly the wayer is not coming from the bottom or seams im the footwell but from higher up in de firewall. There may be leaky seams between the windscreen surround and firewall, window blocks, ventilator flaps, or leaky spots or grommets were cable looms etc. enter the cabin.
