Either replace with new ones, that's what I ended up doing.
or give them a rub down and a few coats of satin black perhaps? 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Based on your posts and input on this forum, I'd say you've got an eye for detail Steve. You're probably better off buying new wiper arms, as they're relatively inexpensive and they'll look right for some time I gave mine a decent coat of etch primer and paint, and then thought 'sod it' and bought 3 new arms. It made me happy anyway! |

I want to try and avoid more painting right now.
I'll stick some WD 40 on for the time being I think. How easy are they to change? |

Doddle to change - 5 minutes. One nut.
WD 40 will bring them up nice if the paint finish is in tact but just dull. I used Autoglym Bumper Shine (or something like that) on them for a while. I didn't buy it specifically for them of course, I just had it in the garage. I suspect any vehicle exterior cleaner/polish would do. I just like things to look right so I bought all 3 arms for about £10 I think - unfortunately the rest of the truck looks poo |

It's driving me nuts keeping it up to scratch lately, so ,any jobs to catch up with.
No paint or,oxidisation on them, just a bit shaded so they've gone slightly grey. The mirrors would do the same but I've got covers on those so that isn't an issue. (Thank god!) |
