It's very subjective and depends on what you are prepared to pay.

The main brands like dynamite and noise killer are expensive.

I buy the rolls of self adhesive thick closed sell aluminium backed material from Powerful Uk, they sell it on eBay. It's thick and I think cuts down panel resonance and noise, plus adds insulation. 6 rolls at £30 each will do an entire 90.

Buy a main brand and you'll pay £500. 2016 D4 HSE

Thanks RRUK, I'm currently investigating Thermaliner - http://www.harrisonstrimsupplies.co.uk/5-x...3173-p.asp

This appears to be a Closed Cell Foam with adhesive backing, anybody used it? NormanD WE191

Note: do not use dynamite to insulate, it does not work Wink For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Thermal???I used typical household foil "blankets" on the doors/floor. I Noticed a difference, but when driving over the tops in high, high winds I could really feel the heat being sucked out of the door Shocked !!!So wear a good coat.

Honestly it was like a fan being turned on!!!! Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Dynamat for sound deadening and closed Cell foam for insulation... Very Happy

CAMPING MAT - cheap and works well.

Need to be careful in some areas that you are not adding too much extra depth otherwisw carpets and / or rubber matting will not fit as well as it did previously.

Radhaz stuff on eBay is a good thermal insulator, I used it under my battery box and in footwells for an arctic trip, we had overnight temperatures of -38c when stationary. To be honest the puma has a brilliant heater and does not need much except the rocker cover to airbox heater mod and that's only when you get to temps of less than -20c

Odyssey batteries are good to -50c

Given the money some seem happy to splurge on their motors, I'm surprised this has been seen yet.
