Workshop heater
What do you guys use ?

I currently use a Propane space heater,
A bit noisey, a bit hot and not ( warms up ok, but gets cold quick after its turned off )
Not ideal for painting bits either

I have a good electrical supply if required

The garage is a healthy double, in width and length, I can drive a 90 in and park it at 45% with all doors open ect,

Not used every day, and requires to warm up quite quickly,

What's ya thoughts chaps ??

Thanks in advance

We use a waste oil burner, but that's probably not very helpful for you.

If the space is badly insulated, whatever heater you use the space will cool down quickly when you turn it off.

As I like anything free and always looking for wood / pallets I would look at a log burner Smile

If its a garage attached you your house in the last house we had I had this split into two room and had rads installed, guess this means you would need the house heating on though but it worked well.

I insulated the walls with stud wall and insulation around 100mm thick also though Smile

I would improve the insulation first. It will also keep it cool in the summer
