well thats just it, its November now and they've admitted they can postpone the registering till dec 31st, so they are not even saying it has to be this month. I cant see why they cant postpone it another couple a days!

I am registering a 90 in Jan in Ireland, they do not have to be registered this year

I am also registering a 90 in January ,in Ireland , I would think its more to so with dealers deadlines/sales figures than anything else.
Contact the registration office or ask who is telling them to register it and show you paperwork to support it |

As a matter of interest, to Dfrs and CR, when did ye place yer orders that ye could get them in Ireland? I went to the local dealer to me in Galway, well in advance of the 26th deadline and was told they'd no further access to new ones. Once I heard this went straight to Belfast (thought they'd be same as UK) again no joy. Eventually got one in UK but the sterling rate is killing me now! All the more reason why I want to hold off till jan to reg...

So can the defenders built in January 2016 be registered in March on a '16' plate or do they all have to be registered as '65'?

Can you not buy one unregistered ?
Maybe if you were using it round a safari park or similar ? |

Mine has a build date of 29th Jan. My dealer will register 1st March for me on a 16 plate. Last edited by m33ufo on 1st Dec 2015 8:50pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Then pop it away for a whilst, and register it at a later date ?

Thank you for your post. I note your query and must advise that any vehicle supplied by our retailers must be registered at the point of sale, there would no option to purchase an unregistered vehicle. Regards Ryan |
