Soft A Bar part number question
I've been trawling tinternet for the best price on an A bar and have found 2, the one on the Land Rover website has a part number of VPLPP0060 and the other one I can find as a genuine part is part number LR005742.

VPLPP0060 has DEFENDER embossed on it but I can't find any reference to being able to hang driving lights off it. LR005742 on the other hand doesn't have DEFENDER on it but has lots of pictures with lamps attached. Does anyone know if VPLPP0060 has the brackets for driving lamps built in to it?

Many thanks

Gerry

Just fitted the Landrover supplied A bar and can confirm that it has two plates fitted underneath the defender logo for fitting spotlamps.

You need to be mindful that when mounted on the vehicle the OEM A-bar is very close to the grill. This reqiires any driving lights need to be fairly shallow bodied (no more than ~55 mm from the centre of the fixing bolt) or that you need to employ a bracket to move them forward.
