Jump Start TD5
I accidentally left my interior light on for a few days. I got back and the battery was drained. I tried Jumpstarting the car with another vehicle and Jumper cables. The car is turning over fine, but doesnt want to start. Is there an issue with the immobilizer? I read somewhere that there might be a code required for the ECU????

Once the battery has some power try locking it then unlocking it to turn off the immobiliser.

What is the alarm light doing?

Let the battery charge up from the donor car for at least 5 minutes before trying to jump start, keep the engine of the donor car on thought out and have the engine revved up on the donor during the cranking.

The starter motor will crank and sound like its working but the engine wont start unless the motor spins fast enough, it can be very deceptive Thumbs Up
