That's a decent mileage for a heritage, I've not seen one used more. 2015 Defender 90XS HT

Good work using it as intended. I've done about 9500 miles now, about half of which was on two trips to France and one to Scotland. It still puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it, I must be a simpleton.

So you are about 15,000kms, good on you. It certainly puts a smile on my face, has been a great tug for the 1800kg caravan, & quite economical - 14lts/100kms over 12800 kms with the van. Only problem is a lot of slack in the transmission, thought to be rear axle flanges, & a rattle in the clutch, both awaiting spares for replacement, and guess I get another Jaguar XF as a replacement, like the car but bang my head every time I get in it! 1955 Series 1 107" Pick up. 1977 RRC Suffix 'D'. 2000 Defender 110 TD5 Xtreme. 2015 Defender Heritage 90. |

Don't leave it in the garage, way too much fun driving them. Once out of warranty & not long now, I will be getting the remap hopefully from Land Rover themselves, & mine is definitely not ever for sale - a couple of sons & a grand son have already claimed it as theirs! 1955 Series 1 107" Pick up. 1977 RRC Suffix 'D'. 2000 Defender 110 TD5 Xtreme. 2015 Defender Heritage 90. |

Hello from "Sunny Downtown Aspendale"! I noticed that you were hoping to get a "remap" from Landrover,....what remap would that be? I see a Heritage on Carsales for $125K! Regards, Pickles. |

Hi Pickles, The remaps were mentioned in the same article that introduced the Works 70th. Think I would just go for the milder 150 version, as it definitely needs just a little more grunt towing the caravan in hilly country - like the snowy mountains in NSW’s & some parts of SA around McClaren Vale. The one you mention on carsales has either been withdrawn or sold, now 2 there for $140k or $120k! Nigel 1955 Series 1 107" Pick up.

The point that I make is that you're saying that JLR will actually do a remap,..which makes it "factory",...I'd not heard of this before, but it's obviously the way to go, and if we still had ours, we'd definitely go down this path.
I think that with the Aussie heat, a better intercooler would be the go? Pickles. |

So far as I'm aware the only remap done by JLR on the last run of Adventure and Autobiography 90's was actually the BAS150AB.
I went for the BAS170AB but I can highly recommend, total transformation of the whole driving experience.
