John,

Can you tell me how you've routed your connecting lead from the brodit? About to get one myself and was thinking of feeding the cable in through the air vent and down, but unsure if there is room without taking the dash panel off first.

Cheers

United Kingdom 2005 Defender 90 Td5 XS CSW Tonga Green
Hi Rosco,

After much thought I went in behind the vent. I had the dash panel off anyway and cut a small groove on the top edge of the remaining dash. Just enough to slide the wire in and refit the dash panel. The theory is that if I remove it, the hole will be barely visible on the top of the dash

John,

Thanks for that.

That will be my method if plan A doesn't work

I've just installed the same head unit in my 2003 TD5 110 CSW, the sound from the rear speakers is absolutely rubbish, then I realised I don't actually have any rear speakers !!!

Rolling with laughter
