TOP idea, but if ya can't do it yourself, and have to pay to get it done, ya'd wanna have deep pockets.
"420" small block, ...never heard of that one, ..what is it, could it have another name,...LS1, LS2, LS3 etc? Are you going for an "early" engine or one of the later "LS" Series. Far better way for all the trouble & expense you'll have to go to,....I'd recommend the LS3. Pickles. |

Thanks for your feed back. I have seen a chevy v8 small block 420hp on net and am wondering if this would fit in a 110. Weather I can do the work myself is to be found out. Lol. Welding is not a strong point but good at most other things that don,t require laptops. The plan if I can call it that is to have a big engine and nos! Obviously this would be an ongoing project! What is the ls3 you speak of?

Yes its sounds a good idea,
yes it con be done, You will need to uprate your diff's, shafts and cv's for that sort of power. |

The LS3 is a GM LS Series engine, one of the last, & actually, & funnily enough it may be the engine you speak of, because it's output is around 300KW, but there are various + or - states of tune. An absolute ripper engine, good power & plenty of torque,...a nice lazy modern V8 with plenty in it for more if ya want "more".
But the actual engine will be the least of your worries. These engines are "electronic" so ya'll have to work out that side of things, ECU etc, to just get the engine to run!! But if ya're gonna do something like this, then an LS3 would be as good as anything,....IMHO anyway. Pickles. |

Seems like you need a new keyboard too as your current one seems to be stuck in caps lock mode
Edit: just noticed that it is an intermittent issue - worth keeping an eye on it though |
