I'm looking to do an oil change tonight / tomorrow am and as such I'm thinking either Costco or Halfords tonight.
(for those that frequent Costco can you recall which Mobil 1 oils they sell and cost. I'm thinking the Mobil 1 is better for less?) |

For most of our oil:
http://www.withamgroup.co.uk/ Although I haven't tried Puma engine oil from them. They can source most things, own brand and branded. We get 1000l Mobil oil delivered every year plus smaller amounts of their own 15W40 engine oil, transmission oil and hydraulic oil into our bulk dispensers. They're always helpful, and the chap that runs it (or used to at least), Geoff Bottom has always come across as a really nice chap when he's visited us for non-oil-y things. They courier small bits, but big stuff locally comes on their own lorries. Drums up to 200l and pumped from containers for other stuff. |

In my yearly motoring / hot hatch years I was convinced Mobil 1 was the best money could buy. Rightly or wrongly I still think the same |

Once a year, usually after Christmas, Halfords do a big sale on 4 litre packs of own brand ( Comma sourced ) correct spec oil for the 2.4 Puma. Its € 15 a pop. I bought loads last year and have loads left. Great value. I used to only use Castrol but IMHO as long as it meets the exact Ford spec (ends in 913C I think without checking) then its got to be good.
