I know! looks far smarter! Really pleased with it now. Would like some at tyres but not a necessity as the grabbers are almost new!

Be warned Hugh - the Grabbers will last forever and drive you insane as you wait for them to wear down just a little to justify removing them and fitting your tyres of choice. (I lasted nine months before selling mine). Peter

Looking good...Im going to order a safari snorkel next week, how did you find fitting it? Any tips or hints. There is a good clip on ebay which shows fitting a safari to a TD5 and it looks relatively straightforward. Life is not a rehearsal!

Yeah i watched the vid a couple of times. Was pretty easy really, the hardest part is getting the pipe work on but even that wasn't too bad with some fairy liquid as suggested in the video.

Mine went on pretty well, you have to make sure the windscreen pillar bracket will line up nicely with the actual pillar before you drill the holes in the wing. I assume thats why they tell you to drill 16mm holes...to give you some margin for error.

I ended up drilling 13mm holes...i did try 10mm but it wasn't quite right and the next drill bit up i had was a 13mm Laughing

Laughing I will no doubt give up at some point but for now i can't justify it...bfg's are not cheap!

They would finish it off nicely though Rolling Eyes Laughing

No, you don't need to remove the ariel, read that elsewhere also.
