fuel pump noise
my fuel pump has started to make a noise when i turn the ignition on,i don't think the pump is on it's way out as the pump is only about three months old,I've put a link to a youtube vid with a disco pump making the same noise,any ideas what the problem could be?

I had a similar issue but the noise wasn't the same as your vid.

For me I changed the injector seals and washers which resolved the problem completely. She started perfect after priming and no noise

Sounds like its drawing air or low fuel pressure maybe the fuel pressure regulator or blocked fuel filter.
Check fuel lines for fractures Or pump is on it way out?? O the joys of having a land rover Whistle

I've got one that can be heard from 50 yards away. Works perfectly, just noisy.
Replaced it in the end. No noise now.

Anyone want a TD5 Ninety fuel pump cheap?
