Netherlands 2003 Defender 90 Td5 PU Caledonian Blue
You tires have to spin faster as 7 km/hr or so before TC starts working so you have to give it a little throttle. Roel

There was plenty of speed - it turns out that they must have all been spinning at the same speed (which I find pretty incredible) as I got stuck again this morning and the tc kicked in this time with the diff locked. It didn't pull me out this time though...

i find it extraordinary that they were spinning at the same speed in your first instance with CDL locked and it didnt come out but then did come out when you unlocked the CDL. assuming all other factors were the same. Cheers
