With respect I think home schooling implies school at home, and as you are doubtless aware, there are countless variations and methods employed by carers and parents who educate children otherwise than at school ranging from set timetables and structured lessons to an entirely child led autonimous approach. There are of course any number of terms used by government, local authorites and those that choose to opt out of the state or private education system  Steve.
