Hi there,
Got tired of my spare wheel sitting on the std carrier, attached to the left rear section of the tub; so I removed it. Looks really 'clean' now as far as the lines go, but has me wondering... Anyone come up with a 'different' idea of keeping their spare wheel safe/out of the way (it's a 33" if that helps)? Not keen on swing-away type. Perhaps something close to the cab? Fitment options? It's lying flat in the loading area for now, but will have to lock it there somehow before heading out again. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Ciao Mike P.S.: eventually I'll fit a solid canopy & drawer system...but for now it's 'bare-back', apart from rubber lining & tilt when needed. |

If you don't mind losing the use of your load bed you could install some tie down loops (or whatever they are called).
I must say I like the looks without the canopy and spare wheels, but I need the space of the load bed. |
