Its a good looking truck with an impressive spec, but there are Tdci's available for that money with much less miles and years under the belt.
Keep strong, the right buyer will come along eventually but be prepared to haggle. I had to sell our Td5 in a bit of a hurry and I lost out accordingly but circumstances dictated it had to go! Is it advertised elsewhere? Advertising on the forum is good but most people here have a defender already so its a bit of a tough market! Hello
In all honestly and I know prices are everywhere I think its too much. 10 seconds on ebay I found these two http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2004-Land-Rover-...Sw~oFXOLGA http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-53-LAND-ROV...SwrhlXTihR and lots more... have a look on their and autotrader and see what they are asking. One thing asking, another getting.. I would also give it a good clean and take a number of pictures all in one place (not looking like its had its MOT inside, under engine, show the keys / invoices you have etc, As above if someone wants its prepare to haggle, yours has quite a few options that some people like, some will not so it could take time. Good luck with selling what are you replacing with? |

In my opinion your price is too high by about £4000
Pictures could do to be better too, please don't think i'm being picky, just my honest opinion |

Hello
For me I would remove the stickers also give it a good scrub and polish and take some great pictures. Its like 'kerb' appeal selling a house, your competing with others make yours Stand out. Is that a botttle opener on the back near the tail gate.. |

I think immaculate is subjective.

Take off as many mods as possible and sell them separately to get the best price.
I would say £12k as it is. Downside is lots of drilled bodywork (chequeplate, etc.) and miles aren't that low, but does have some nice additions which add value. If you have patience, you can usually hold out for a better price closer to what you want. |

To be brutally honest you will be lucky to fetch £10k for this in an auction format, all the extras are great but don't add any tangible value to a buyer they just see the base vehicle for what it is. As suggested take them off and sell them separately and make some cash there.

I like it, maybe a bit high on price but you can always go down, not up and the market is all over at the moment. In my opinion it's not overly modified. The only thing for me which is purely personal is the bush cables and tubular bumper which I would take off.
Tbh I get the feeling that this forum is more suited to selling standard vehicles so you may have better luck trying other sites / social media Glwts |

I like your vehicle but a lot of buyers will look at it and think it is set up for "off roading"and that will put them off.
As others have said if you want maximum money take off all the accessories you can and sell them separately and you are left with a good base vehicle to sell for someone else to modify to their taste. Probably between £10k to £12k worth. HR064 Hampshire and Berkshire 4x4 Response |

As a potential LR buyer, the only mods that would interest me, would be first 50% of your long list
The rest do not £18000 is a lot of dosh, for a bit more I could get something newer and with less miles |

Interesting that your motor now has a single mass flywheel, could you tell me what the difference is in terms of use and could you also give me an indication as to the price and whether it still uses a spigot bush or is it modified to take a bearing.
I'm about to need to take whole lot out because the previous owner of my Disco didn't change the bush when he did the clutch and the screeching and shuddering is becoming horrific! So now is the time to look at flywheel options..... |
